Well done to Vicky for her protesting about the loss of this tree and the road development. Shame it was too late for that tree, but let's hope the bad press forces the council to consult with local residents more in future.

Slightly off the thread but still on the subject of trees this appeared by the a120 about 3 year ago the first time i saw it i nearly pranged the car as it was still brilliantly white.Having got used to it i think it is a usefull way of bringing back a dead tree and does brighten a dull journey home.

We used to have one wrapped in white material between Cardiff and Newport.
